Under the umbrella of the Psychiatric Imaging Network Germany (PING) – a workshop for young scientists “Beyond group heterogeneity - investigating the individual human connectome using multimodal neuroimaging” was co-organized by Jülich-Aachen Research Alliance (JARA) and LMU München. Researcher from the BMBF-funded network on Psychological Disorders came to together to learn from and discuss novel approaches in data analysis and experimental designs which allow to incorporate rather than to dismiss individual variance. Profs. Frank Padberg and Klaus Mathiak (left in the photo) were happy about the insightful contributions and lively discussions in the neighborhood of the Oktoberfest in Munich.
